1-inch Extra-Fine Cylindrical Grinding Bit "Fire Polish" Bit 600 Grit Cylindrical Grinding Bits The cylindrical grinding bit is the workhorse of stained glass. We offer a size and grade for every task. These bits are available in 3/4”, and 1” diameters and Extra-Fine, Fine, Standard and Super Power grades. There are bits useful for each phase of your project from the initial rough grinding to the final edge smoothing. For you everyday glass projects, these bits have unsurpassed longevity. The Extra-Fine bits are a new edition to the Gryphon Line, and feature 600 grit diamonds. We call these our "Fire-Polish" bits because the results are nearly as smooth as if the glass were polished in the kiln. The Gryphon bits fit all Inland, Glastar and Gryphon Grinders (except the Glastar Starlette). They are a line of high quality grinding bits made in Germany by E.
