Poppies

This single mould forms two bloom sizes: Large and Medium. Should you need a small poppy, one can be found in the Colour de Verre Small Mixed Flowers #1 mould.

These poppies make beautiful accents to platters and plates, but also can be used to create jewellery. The fill weights are 40 and 30 grams respectively, whilst the dimensions are approximately 57 mm (2-1/4”) and 45 mm respectively.

IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT FOR BEST EFFECT, COLOUR DE VERRE SPECIFICALLY RECOMMENDS THE USE  OF HOTLINE PRIMO PRIMER (OR MR-97, WHICH IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE IN AUSTRALIA). 

Give the mould 3-4 thin, even coats of Primo Primer kiln wash, using a soft artist's brush to apply the Primer (Colour de Verre recommends that you do NOT use a haik brush, as this will not pick up the necessary fine detail).  Use a hair dryer to completely dry each coat before applying the next.
