Winning Glass Paul Stankard Celebrating a Lifetime of Inspiring Others Paul Stankard, internationally respected glass artist, received the President’s Medal from Muskingum University in recognition for his exemplary actions on behalf of others. Stankard, known for interpreting native flowers in small-scale glass sculptures, has distinguished himself throughout his career for inspiring students to search for their individual creative spirits. A year later he began to envision a body of sculptural work that would reference the mysteries of flying. Through his series Finding Flight, the artist has sought to create glass sculptures that capture the motion and feeling of flight.
