Conch

This Colour de Verre mould conch measures approximately 11 cm x 6.5 cm.  It has a fill weight of 110 grams  - this is the amount of glass required to fill the mould properly.

For best effect, and to minimise bubbles, Colour de Verre recommends the use of casting billets.  To see our range of casting billets, click here.

IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT FOR BEST EFFECT, COLOUR DE VERRE SPECIFICALLY RECOMMENDS THE USE  OF HOTLINE PRIMO PRIMER (OR MR-97, WHICH IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE IN AUSTRALIA). 

Give the mould 3-4 thin, even coats of Primo Primer kiln wash, using a soft artist's brush to apply the Primer (Colour de Verre recommends that you do NOT use a haik brush, as this will not pick up the necessary fine detail).  Use a hair dryer to completely dry each coat before applying the next.
