Lotus

This single mould produces two very pretty lotus blooms.The large lotus measures approximately 63 mm in diameter, whilst the smaller lotus measures approximately 51 mm.  The fill weights are 50 and 38 grams respectively. If a smaller lotus is required, one can be found in the Colour de Verre Small Mixed Flowers #1 mould.

The finished pieces can be fused to plates and platters, made into drawer pulls, or jewellery.

IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT FOR BEST EFFECT, COLOUR DE VERRE SPECIFICALLY RECOMMENDS THE USE  OF HOTLINE PRIMO PRIMER (OR MR-97, WHICH IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE IN AUSTRALIA). 

Give the mould 3-4 thin, even coats of Primo Primer kiln wash, using a soft artist's brush to apply the Primer (Colour de Verre recommends that you do NOT use a haik brush, as this will not pick up the necessary fine detail).  Use a hair dryer to completely dry each coat before applying the next.
