The stylized vines, leaves, and blooms of the Colour de Verre Botanical Pattern Fuser are reminiscent of classic Dutch tiles and English pottery, but with a contemporary twist.
Fill it with any combination of frits and sheet glass and the results are a deeply textured panel that can be slumped into a plate, platter, or bowl. Left flat, the panels are contemporary wall art.
The design of the Pattern Fusers is unique. The deep texture of the bottom surface can be filled with coloured frit. The "dams" that surround the Pattern Fuser's edge produces pieces with a finished, crafted appearance.
The Botanical Pattern Fuser produces panels up to 24.5cm square. The mould itself is 27.5cm square. The fill weight is 900 to 1,000 grams.
